Shadow in the land staying in the shadows themselves. Being black it would be almost impossible to see her from where she was all except for the star that was on her forehead. Sadly it was almost like a burden to her, giving her away when she wished to be hidden. The sun was out and Shadow preferred, the early morning, evening, and night to the daytime. That made her almost nocturnal, maybe if she tried hard enough she could become fully nocturnal. Then again what was the fun in that, she wouldn't be able to watch what the others did, if she just slept the day away. Instead during the daytime she would sneak around in the shadows, watching the activity of other equines. Today she couldn't remain hidden, she was searching for something. She was searching for a stallion, one that would perhaps claim her and take her to his home. But then again would that mess up her life? Shadow didn't think it would so she stepped out into the sunlight, something she rarely did and reared up letting out a bone chilling cry. She let all stallions near by know she was here and searching. With a loud snort, she began to graze to ease her boredom as she waited.

Grudge Redefined walked into the claiming tera's and saw the dark fea. Her screach was like a song to his ears of which he had not heard in a long time, he was very lonesome in this land for he was the only stag that he knew walked these lands, besides the wannabe dark that once dared to challenge him, also that grudge walked away in triumph. [x]'ello my-lady what may your dubbiance is???I am Grudge, Grudge Redefined.[x]

Shadow snorted as she heard the stag, turning on her haunches she quickly she came to face him. She dipped her head in a greeting to him, to acknowledge him. 'Ello M'lord Grudge, Im Shadow She looked him over trying to learn some more about him, like how many battles had had been in and if he had won or lost.

Grudge stood to his full height showing his muscle and posture. Looking tough and strong; though he had dirt and soot all over his blanket they all seemed to not matter after you were entranced by his black jewels. [x]No need to call me lord, i may be a dark but you have no need to be curtious; i'm a big boy, i can handle it.[x] He hissed out. In a low voice, barely to be heard. He wanted to see if this vix could handle him if she was destined to be his lead mare...
He shook his head vigorously to rid of the flies. He stomped his foot in anoience. [x]Shadow, do you have a stag or tera??[x] He was curious so he wouldn't have to luir a mare for nothing. His time was; at times, valuable. He turned his head and flickered his ears as he looked around seeing if there were any other stags there too. none. As Grudge sized her up in hopes to find several flaws he only found some. good he thought; she will be just fine to be a lead mare....possibly if she proved herself worthy.

Watching him stand there look all tough and strong didn't bring the least bit of fear, or submission. She raised her head up, showing off her height and muscles, she had gotten through fights. On her hindquarters there was some noticeable scars from fights with others mares and stallions. All of which she had won, leaving her opponent seriously wounded. Listening to him get on her about calling him lord wasn't exactly what she had in mind. Very well She hissed back to him, her voice like icy daggers, that could pierce that heart. She snorted, some what bored of just standing around chatting.
Her dark colored orbs flickered over the land once more, checking for other equines in the area. Hearing his question, she slowly looked back at him. No, right now I am without a stag or terra She hissed to him, as she stomped her foot, with slight annoyance because of the insects. Another reason she disliked the daytime, there was too many insects.

Grudge hated the way she was so; obedient. She was not what he had expected from a dark vix, she was more neutral, so far. He hoped that she would show alittle sign of rebellion, though she had shown none. He threw his head and started to buck slightly, he broke in to a canter, running right by her. But as he did he whispered in her black daggers [x]Follow me if you dare….[x] To tell you the truth he really wasn’t sure where he was running to. But that was how he lived his life, in the dark and with his eyes closed. He ran into the dark shadows dodging trees as he went. He needent check behind him for the black vix, for he knew if she was a true black fea she would be there.
Grudge stopped at the edge of the cliff and stared out. It was blinding the first second you got into the sun but quickly his eyes adjusted. He looked around him and remembered how he had many defeats here at this cliff, at the memories he smiled slightly. But it disappeared the second it came. Finally he turned his cranium around to look and see if the dark fea had really followed him.

Shadow smirked; she figured that she was getting to him. It was all a test to see if he could handle her. When she wanted to, she could be a rebel and a handful. She watched him with a cold gaze, she thought that perhaps he was showing off to impress her, if he was she didn't find in amusing. On second examination she saw that maybe he wasn't, she really didn't care. Listening to him whisper she snorted, loudly of course she dared. She had more guts than most mares out there, now when and where she decided to prove that statement true was a different story. With a half jump she began to run after him, through the shadows dodging the trees, and keeping up with ease.
Shadow stopped soon after he did at the edge of the cliff, she snorted at the fact that the sun was bright, even though her eyes had adjusted to it. Looking around, it looked like the perfect place to have a fight. A place where if your enemy made the slightest mistake, you could send them toppling over a cliff edge. She saw him checking to see if she was there and smirked. What didn't think I was brave enough to follow you She hissed to him, still smirking.

Grudge smirked at Shadows comment. [x]Not many dare run in the dark blinded by it's ebony silhouette. And aparently your different. good.[x] Grudge hissed back at her. He didn't want her to get a big head by him being pleased by her courage to follow him. But, that was only one part of what he had planed to test her on. To be truthful, he didn't quit know what else he was going to test the dark fea on. [x]What do you think of it?[x] To say in small words what Grudge had known of this place his whole life; well it was where his damn sire had tried to send him plunging over the edge so that he, Grudge, would not grow to rule over him. But little did his damn sire know was that he had been building his muscles in secret, and the last one that walked away from that fight was infact Grudge. After he had sent his dark sire over the barren edge into the darkness that lay below. Soon after that Grudge had returned to murder his dam also. But that was then and this was now, Grudge was now the last of his lines. They were all dead. But now there was this mare, and he found amusment in tormenting her.

Shadow almost smirked, truthfully many equines most likely didn't 'dare run in the dark blinded by its ebony silhouette', but she was different. Her life had been full, of darkness, hatred, and without mercy and that’s how she intended to keep it. At the sound of the question, slight amusement shone in her eyes, but it quickly vanished in the shadows that clouded her eyes. Well, it has to be one of the best places I have seen to have a fight, so you can send your opponent falling over the edge to there death She told him in a dark hiss, in fact she wished she had known of this place earlier, there had been many that she had taken care of by sending them to there death, but nothing near as exciting ass sending them to there death over a cliff edge. Perhaps one day in the future she would get the chance to, she knew plenty of equines who she deemed to deserve that fate. In fact if I find a worthless light, I will personally chase him or her here to there doom. Shadow hissed quietly, hoping to see one come in on cue she looked over to the forest. She knew that one wouldn't dare come, so she looked back over at Grudge, wanting to see what he thought of her answer.

Grudge smirked at the comment, he liked this dark vix. He didn't know if she was one worth keeping, but so far she had proven no different. She had sertainly made all the right moves. [x]I like it, too. Brings back good memories of my dark defeats. Yes, I agree that if there was a light that came apon you or I, it would be in fact fun to push them over to the last of their days.[x] Grudge hissed back at the black vix beside him. While he looked down to the never ending hole that lay before him. For a while he thought about how far down he went then he pushed the thought aside not wanting to figure that out. He turned his cranium to looked at the black vix beside him looking her over from top to bottom thinking of what she would be like to have as a lead mare in his dark lands. The more he thought about it the more he liked the idea of it. He just desided to wait alittle longer, he liked to find flaws.
